Wedding Ceilidh Band

Triple Scotch ceilidh band will provide a fantastic party at your wedding reception. A ceilidh is a great way for everyone to have a fun evening of dancing and for those who have not been to a ceilidh before, or who ‘don’t dance’ our caller can explain the dances at a pace where everyone can join in. Triple Scotch can take care of your first dance as well, either announcing and playing the recording through our PA system, or playing live if you’d prefer to do a ceilidh dance with guests involved.

As much as we pride ourselves in our music, our focus is always on guests having fun and enjoying the night. We are really proud of our google reviews which hopefully reflect this. We really do put as much energy and effort into every night to make sure everyone has the best time.

Ceilidh Band with Disco and DJ

To finish off the evening we are able to offer a DJ service with lighting. Often we will receive a spotify playlist in advance with chosen songs but the selection can of course be left to the DJ.

Daytime Violin and Piano Background music

Having studied at the Royal Northern College of Music our violin and piano duo can provide some light background music during the drinks reception and for the ceremony, before joining with the drummer for the all important ceilidh in the evening. We can perform any music of your choice – be it classical, jazz, folk or pop, click here to listen to some of our sound clips. As trained classical musicians we have recorded for artists such as Paloma Faith, Craig David, and Stephen the violinist has even performed on stage with Lady Gaga.

The duo performance for the ceremony is normally 30 minutes prior as guests are seating, music for walking in, signing of the register and music for the newly wed couple walking out. For the drinks reception we like to do a mix of arrangements of pop songs, light jazz and well known film music.

We booked Triple Scotch for our wedding in France in October 2024 and they were absolutely incredible! They provided the most perfect soundtrack to our day, playing for the ceremony, drinks reception, first dance, ceilidh and disco. The ceilidh was a real highlight and pretty much all the guests joined in, with many who hadn’t done it before, and everyone had the most amazing time. Stephen was very easy to communicate with to organise everything in the lead up to the big day and they are a genuinely lovely group. Incredibly talented, professional, top notch Triple Scotch - would recommend in a heartbeat!

We booked Triple Scotch to perform at our wedding in Derbyshire in August 2024, and they were absolutely marvellous!!Triple Scotch were an integral part of our wedding day, bringing so much fun and joy to us and our guests. We are forever grateful to them!The band played before, during, and after the ceremony, and even created a fabulous arrangement of our favourite song for my wife to walk down the aisle to.In the evening they orchestrated a fantastic evening of Ceilidh dancing, which had all our guests dancing and participating in what was a truly memorable and wonderful evening.Stephen and the band are all incredibly talented musicians and create a fantastic atmosphere for all to enjoy! They also continued the party for us into the evening with a disco following the ceilidh sets, playing a selection of our favourite songs. Overall, Triple Scotch were truly fantastic and we couldn't have wished for anything more, we have so many wonderful memories to cherish!We hope to Ceilidh dance with them again in the future!! We booked Triple Scotch Ceilidh Band for a ceilidh and DJ set for our wedding reception in September 2024. They were fantastic! Quite a few of our guests hadn't been to a ceilidh before, but Triple Scotch were so good at getting everyone involved in the dancing, and the caller explained the moves really well. They also announced our first dance and cake cutting, which was lovely. We had so much fun, the music was absolutely brilliant, and our guests all really enjoyed it. We had the pleasure of having Stephen and the Triple Scotch Band at our wedding in New Mills. The Ceilidh was a huge hit with all of our guests, we loved it so much! The ceilidh dancing was such a fabulous part of our day and we can’t thank the band enough for that. We also had the band for our DJ service in the night, which also proved a huge hit!! We can’t thank Stephen and the Band enough for being such a key and fun part of our day!

We had the pleasure of having Triple Scotch Ceilidh Band be a part of our wedding last week at Stirk House in Gisburn. They provided the Ceilidh and then stayed to DJ afterwards.We had a mix of experienced and beginners in the group, and everyone's reactions were so brilliant.It was the highlight of the day for all of us, and brought all the guests together. The skill of the musicians as well as the callers just blended brilliantly and provided us all with the most fun we have had, and was without doubt the most memorable part of our day!We could not recommend these guys more!Thanks so much!James and Laura

We had the Triple Scotch Ceilidh Band play at our wedding and they didn’t disappoint! We had a mixture of experienced ceilidh dancers and first timers. The band are not only excellent musicians, but also have a fantastic caller making sure everyone had a great time and knew what was going on. They were a very professional setup and helpful in the lead up to our wedding day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
